We design and supply bathrooms, ensuites, shower rooms and cloakrooms through our client focused design service - Our design service is free of charge and presentations are held at our Pontyclun based Design Studio. Our recommended bathroom installers cover the South Wales area.

Our bathroom projects start from £10,000.00 - £12,000.00 including installation, with the average spend sitting at approx £15,000.00 - £18,000.00.

We carefully select the brands that make our designs come to life, pairing quality with style and never one without the other, to give you a design led finish for your specific brief and budget.

Higher end projects with bespoke, made to order elements and luxury brands can exceed £30,000.00 + If you have a project that is out of the ordinary, or you seek high end brands throughout we are your perfect partner for this with years of experience and a portfolio of proof.

Fill in our webform with as much information as possible, include your location and contact details.
After we receive your webform someone from The Tap End will give you a call to go through the consultation process with you.
This will include establishing whether or not we are the right fit for your project.
Following on from our consultation process you will then be allocated a designer who will be in touch to book you in for your presentation, this takes place in our Design Studio.
At the presentation you will be shown 3D visuals, samples, tiles and have the opportunity to discuss options with your designer.
It is at this point we will confirm product and tile costs, installation costs and installation dates.
If you are happy with the design at your presentation we then require a 60% deposit of the goods total to place your order and secure the installer and available slot.
We call for the remaining 40% balance a week before delivery. Delivery is booked for the day the installer starts.
We connect clients with tried and tested recommended installers, each installer will have their own procedure for booking and payment which will be explained during your presentation.

- Is the design service chargeable? There is no charge for our design service, however we do not release any design work to the client until the point of sale.
- Is my project too small/too big for you? We take on all projects whether big or small - for The Tap End is it more about being the right fit for your brief and timeline than it is the size of the project.
- What is the time-frame from enquiry to completion? We have a wait list and we work in date order. It usually takes approx 2-3 weeks from enquiry to being allocated a designer depending on how busy we are at any given time. Once a designer makes contact they will book you in for your presentation which is approx a week or so after the initial call. If you proceed with the design the fitters are usually booked up at least 3-4 months in advance.
- Can I bring my children to my presentation? We have space for 3-4 people in our presentation area, children are welcome however presentations require clients to be fully engaged so if bringing your children may provide too much of a distraction please consider booking a time where you are child free!
- Are you dog friendly? We are - Feel free to bring your fur-baby to your presentation just as long as you don’t mind some fuss!
- How long does a bathroom take to install? Bathrooms take on average approx 3 weeks to install from rip out to completion but depending on your requirements may take less or more time.
- How much mess will it cause? Having any building work done causes upheaval in the home and bathrooms are perhaps one of the worst rooms to renovate in this respect. Expect noise, dust, floor coverings and a skip or rubbish to be placed outside of the home.
- Where do you cover? Our recommended fitters cover the South Wales area, however if you have a project further afield we can still create a design and supply nationwide providing you have your own builder or local installer.
